Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has betrayed the public, asserting he hadn’t fulfilled promises of supplying two crore jobs each year and “depositing” Rs. 15 lakh in their bank account.
The Congress leader was addressing a rally in Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, where gathering polls will be held on November 28.
“Modiji has betrayed the people on the dilemma of supplying jobs to 2 crore people each year and depositing Rs. 15 lakh money in their account by attracting (back) black cash stashed overseas,” Mr Gandhi said.
PM Modi, throughout the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign, had highlighted the problem of black cash and’d promised to deliver it back.
The fear of dropping the 2019 general elections has generated”hatred” from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s head against the Congress, Gandhi said covering a second rally in Damoh later.
The Congress leader said while Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan talks with decency, PM Modi lacks it if he strikes the Congress along with his family .
“When you listen to Modi’s address, he also uses wrong words and talks with hate… and speaks lies. The faith reposed by the people and youths in these has broken. When Modi comes, folks say he’ll talk lies,” Mr Gandhi said.
“He (Modi) talks with hatred about me and my loved ones, however, Shivraj uses adequate language. Modi does not understand how to talk inexpensively, but Rahul Gandhi will constantly keep decency when talking,” he explained.
“Though Chouhan has indulged in corruption, whenever he says anything contrary to us, he talks with decency,” Mr Gandhi added.
