Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today asserted that the BJP has conducted the government “relatively better” compared to Congress and blamed the opposition party to get a”credibility crisis” in politics following Independence.
Speaking to colleagues in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh,” Mr. Singh claimed that the nation was currently watching “acche din” (good days) and it was an issue of understanding how people watched it.
He also defended the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in the Centre within the Rafale jet bargain row.
“Indian market is the fastest growing market on the planet as a result of magnetic function of our prime minister (Narendra Modi). India (individuals ) has confessed that BJP is a political party which runs the authorities somewhat better than the Congress,” Mr. Singh told reporters.
“I stated relatively… no political party is ideal, neither we’re, I never made such a promise. All political parties have flaws. But this (BJP) is a political party which works , relatively,” he maintained.
In a stinging attack on the Congress, he accused of developing a”credibility crisis” in the nation, stating there was a gap between the celebration’s words and activities.
“I feel in the history of independent India, the politics of Congress has made a credibility meltdown about nation’s politics and politicians as a whole. This authenticity crisis was created on account of the gap between words and deeds (of politicians),” Mr. Singh said.
To a query about the Rafale deal controversy,” he explained,”Rafale is Ra-fail. Dassault CEO has clarified. An individual can observe the fact of those allegations.”
“It had been alleged that the arrangement of Rs. 30,000 crore has been allocated to a cancel partner (of Dassault). However, the reality is that the contract is intended for all cancel spouses rather than for you personally,” he explained.
The authorities had previously denied allegations of corruption at the offer.
Asked about the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Mr. Singh said,”(I believe ) You are knowledgeable about the evolution on this situation. I can only state, wait”
About the BJP’s guarantee of attracting “acche din”, he explained, “Yahi hain acche din, prashna nazariye ka hai (these are the great days, it’s an issue of understanding ).”
Asked about demonetisation,” Mr. Singh maintained that the government’s decision attracted transparency to the market.
“The creation of black money was stopped. The black cash that originated (in the time demonetisation) attained the banks,” he explained.
The Union minister claimed that the gas and gas prices were moving down since the prices depended on crude oil price in the global industry.
He refused to comment on the controversies plaguing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), stating the thing was sub-judice.
The country is scheduled to go to polls on November 28 and outcomes will be announced on December 11.
