Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Thursday stoked a controversy by creating a veiled assault against former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, stating”representatives from Italy” eased religious conversions of local tribals once the party was in power from the nation.
Addressing a campaign rally for the next phase of Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh, Adityanath stated,”Italy se ayatit saudagar” (agents imported from Italy), undertook”anti-national” actions like conversion of tribals from the country.
His”Italy se ayatit saudagar” comment was a veiled reference to the roots of Sonia Gandhi.
Attacking Congress for appeasement of all”minorities”, Adityanath stated the’anti-national action of spiritual conversion’ reached its peak once the party dominated the nation.
“Anti-national actions were at its summit. Dilip Singh Judeo (overdue BJP MP) took this menace head and ceased Jashpur from getting yet another Bastar,” Adityanath stated,
“The society features milk to snakes despite understanding that it may snack afterwards. Hindu is the best society of earth since we always thinks in sacrifices. “We Hindus never think in forced conversion such as others. We will need to set up a government that may set a Ram Rajya in Chattisgarh,” he explained.
“There weren’t any roads, education, power and ration to the bad but”Italy se ayatit saudagar” were indulging in religious conversions, that Judeo foiled,” he explained.
